Anatomical/functional Organization of the Frontal Lobes: Implications for Assessment and Rehabilitation.

Research on the frontal lobes has resulted in a model of how the frontal lobes are anatomically and functionally organized. There are two major implications of this model.  The first relates to assessment of different categories of function of the frontal lobes.  In addition to experimental procedures, examples of how standard frontal lobes tests might be used to reveal the same information will be presented.  Secondly, how this model could be useful in developing targeted rehabilitation methods will be discussed.
